About the Role
∙Typical CDL Driver Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation:
∙ Safely operating commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations
∙ Transporting freight/goods to designated locations on schedule
∙ Planning routes and adjusting for traffic, weather, and road conditions
∙ Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
∙ Maintaining electronic logs and documentation (ELD compliance)
Safety & Compliance:
∙ Following all federal, state, and company safety regulations
∙ Properly securing and protecting cargo
∙ Reporting accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues immediately
∙ Maintaining valid CDL and required endorsements
∙ Staying current with hours of service regulations
Customer Service & Communication:
∙ Delivering professional service at pickup and delivery locations
∙ Communicating with dispatchers regarding status and issues
∙ Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining signatures
∙ Representing the company professionally at all times
Types of CDL Positions We Fill
∙ Local/Regional Drivers: Home daily or weekly, predictable schedules
∙ OTR (Over-the-Road): Long-haul routes across multiple states
∙ Dedicated Routes: Consistent customers and routes
∙ Delivery Drivers: Box trucks, straight trucks, local deliveries
∙ Specialized Hauling: Flatbed, reefer, tanker, hazmat

Requirements
∙ Valid Class A or Class B CDL
∙ Clean driving record (MVR)
∙ Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience (varies by position)
∙ Ability to pass DOT physical examination
∙ Ability to pass drug screening and background check
∙ Strong safety record and commitment to DOT compliance
∙ Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
∙ Ability to lift, load, and secure cargo as needed
Preferred:
∙ Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples endorsements (depending on position)
∙ TWIC card
∙ 2+ years of CDL driving experience
∙ Experience with specific equipment (reefer, flatbed, tanker, etc.)
∙ Clean PSP (Pre-Employment Screening Program) report
∙ Familiarity with ELD systems and route planning technology
