About the Role
Responsibilities may include:
∙ Assisting patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating)
∙ Taking and recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
∙ Assisting with patient mobility and transfers
∙ Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff
∙ Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
∙ Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
∙ Documenting care provided according to facility protocols
Requirements
Required:
∙ Active Texas CNA certification (or ability to obtain)
∙ Current CPR/BLS certification
∙ High school diploma or GED
∙ Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
∙ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∙ Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
∙ Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends) as needed Preferred:
∙ 6+ months of CNA experience in a healthcare setting
∙ Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
∙ Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
