About the Role
Typical LVN Responsibilities
∙ Providing direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
∙ Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
∙ Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and symptoms
∙ Assisting with activities of daily living and patient comfort measures
∙ Performing wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures
∙ Documenting patient care and observations in medical records
∙ Communicating patient status and concerns to supervising nurses and physicians
∙ Maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment

Requirements
Required:
∙ Active, unencumbered Texas LVN license
∙ Current CPR/BLS certification
∙ Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
∙ Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
∙ Excellent patient care and communication abilities
∙ Ability to follow physician orders and nursing care plans accurately
∙ Flexibility to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
∙ Ability to lift, move, and assist patients safely
Preferred:
∙ 6+ months of LVN experience in a healthcare setting
∙ IV certification
∙ Experience in long-term care, assisted living, clinic, or hospital settings
∙ Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
∙ Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
∙ Wound care or specialty certifications
