About the Role
Typical Warehouse Operator/Associate Responsibilities
Material Handling:
∙ Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks
∙ Moving materials and products throughout the warehouse
∙ Operating powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently
∙ Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
∙ Stacking and organizing pallets in designated storage areas
Inventory Management:
∙ Using RF scanners to track inventory and update systems
∙ Conducting inventory counts and cycle counts
∙ Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
∙ Reporting discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors
∙ Maintaining organized and accessible inventory storage
Shipping & Receiving:
∙ Processing incoming deliveries and verifying paperwork
∙ Preparing outbound shipments and staging for pickup
∙ Labeling boxes, pallets, and packages according to requirements
∙ Operating stretch wrap machines and other packaging equipment
∙ Ensuring accurate documentation and manifests
Safety & Housekeeping:
∙ Following all safety protocols and wearing required PPE
∙ Maintaining clean, organized work areas
∙ Reporting safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately
∙ Participating in safety meetings and training
∙ Conducting pre-shift equipment inspections

Requirements
Required:
∙ High school diploma or GED preferred
∙ Ability to pass background check and drug screening
∙ Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
∙ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
∙ Comfortable working in warehouse environments (hot/cold temperatures)
∙ Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
∙ Strong work ethic and team player mentality
∙ Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as needed
Preferred:
∙ 6+ months of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
∙ Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, order picker)
∙ Pallet jack and RF scanner experience
∙ Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
∙ Cherry picker or other powered industrial equipment certifications
∙ Experience in high-volume or fast-paced distribution environments
∙ Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
